REMEMBER THAT DUCK snow sculpture I showed you last week?
Well, it wasn’t finished.
Look how sculpting and color transformed this duck.
Fabulous, isn’t it?
I don’t think the project is finished yet, based on the pile of blocked snow next to the mighty duck at the Kurt Kletter home, 417 Second Street Northwest, Faribault. I’ll keep my eyes on that duck and any new developments.
FYI: Since photographing this duck on Sunday afternoon, we’ve experienced two days of 40-degree temps. I have not checked to see how this heat wave may have impacted the snow sculpture.

Precisely. Are you ready for today? Hard to believe, as calm at is appears now, that a blizzard will soon descend upon us.

May be more rain/sleet (even a t-storm possible) for us then 4″ snow on top!!! Variety is the spice…….so the saying goes…….LOL!

That sounds super nasty.

This corner of the state seems to be prone to such winter nastiness!!!

Correct you are.

Reminds me of my college days. We made the Hams beer bear (won 1st place) can’t believe how many snow snakes bit us so we had to “take” black berry brandy medicine. UMW Hort club also did a Woodstock bird, the little one in Charlie Brown, only thing he was tall. What fun in the good old days

I didn’t know you were an experienced snow sculptor. I’d love to see photos of the aforementioned sculptures.

COOL – love the added pops of color – great way to use all that snow that has been piling up!!! Happy Thursday:)

The color truly made this sculpture. More snow coming this afternoon and into tonight with up to 10 plus inches predicted. We are currently in a blizzard warning, although snow has not yet begun to fall here.

That is a whole lot of snow coming into the area!
By cravesadventure on February 20, 2014 at 1:19 PM
Uh, huh, and it’s just started to fall.

Ah, the duck got even better! Now this is the way to make use of all that snow.

Even better, for sure. And all those would be snow sculptors will have more material to work with from the sounds of the forecast. No snow falling here yet.
