WISCONSINITES ARE CRAZY about their Green Bay Packers. That I’ve learned in the four years since my second daughter moved to eastern Wisconsin.
From Packers billboards to barn signs, Packers apparel and green and gold brat buns in the grocery store, Packers craziness abounds.
You can even find holiday décor promoting this much beloved football team, as discovered by my daughter on a shopping trip to the local Shopko. She couldn’t resist texting an image of Cheesehead Green Bay Packers snowman ornaments.
Cheesy or cute? You decide.

My brother moved behind the cheddar curtain. During football season, we visit the river in the dead of night. He calls out to us from his bank, we shout back. It’s sad but what can you do?
You have a way with words/stories. Once again, entertaining.
That is cheesy alright.
I agree. But I bet you will find lots of these ornaments on Christmas trees in the homes of Packers fans.
A bit of both. 🙂
Maybe, although I’d lean toward cheesy.
Depends on which side of Ole Miss’ you live on!!!! I’m not into gold/green OR purple!!!!!!!
True, but I’ve seen many a Packers fan right here on the west side of the Mississippi. And I’m like you. I don’t get into either team. Neither does the daughter.
Oh, the rivalries are quite apparent here, too! The wrong winner can result in purple oatmeal at certain local establishments the morning after a game!!! Just sayin’
Oh, my, purple oatmeal. All in the name of fun, or the game. Sounds like some folks with a great sense of ribbing humor in your parts.
Cheesy but whatever floats their boat!
Good answer, Missy, good answer.
wild!!..c
I think the craziest Packers craziness I’ve seen are green and gold brat buns in the grocery store on game day weekend.
Well, cheesy, for sure! But I married a man from Wisconsin, so I have to be careful what I say here. 🙂
I get that have to be careful.
I think the snowman is very cute and it reminds me of ‘Christmas at the Kranks’.
I’m not familiar with “Christmas at the Kranks.” But I’ll take your word for it.
