Yes, once in awhile I like to change up a picture and give it an artsy vibe.
I hope you keep at it…….I really enjoy the different effects.
I always have mixed feelings about photo editing. Do I stay true to the image or do I change it up a bit? In this case, the original image seemed rather boring to me. So when I started playing a bit with editing, this is what resulted. And I must say I rather like the transformation of a snowy field into an ocean of waves.
“Staying true to the image”. Hmmmm. Let’s see, if you decide to take up “air-brushing” your image to actually change their integrity, then I’ll take issue. It is a “feel” that you have given us w/o restructuring the featured subject. I say……go for it and let us, the readers, enjoy your efforts!!!! Hugs…….
My photo editing skills are minimal, thus you would never see airbrushing. Thanks for your appreciation of my artsy efforts.

despite the cold & snow, one can find fun even during the winter months here in the frozen North.
Yup, and I find my fun in capturing outdoor fun and then having fun with the image.

There were a lot of snowmobilers out on Saturday, when I snapped this photo near Faribault through the passenger side window of our van. I thought it made for an interesting shot with only a portion of the snowmobile showing. I shot a few other frames with the entire snowmobile, but liked this one best once I’d edited it.
If you do not notice the snowmobiler it looks like an ocean wave – love it!
Exactly. Readers can pretend the snowmobiler is riding a jet ski.

I’m sure those “ice” waves of snow were cold too! Looks like a fun time.
