Happy Holidays!
To which I reply, Merry CHRISTmas!
Thank you.
From a purely marketing perspective, I must say it is refreshing to see people with the testicular fortitude to step forward unashamed of “Christmas”. I understand the thought process behind many businesses attempting to appease the masses through “politically correct” terms like “Happy Holidays” but frankly the entire battle is tired and ridiculous.
Good for any business who is willing to skip the politics surrounding such a childish battle. I for one feel refreshed by businesses that take a stand and show some “gonads”.
We must be polite to others, understanding of cultural differences – but come on!
I rather liked what Ben Stein had to say on the matter here: http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/confessions.asp
Amen and Merry CHRISTmas!
I have noticed a lot more “MERRY CHRISTMAS’S” this year instead of the generic, “Happy holidays”, I love that! Love the sign but I also noticed the beautiful backdrop of white fence & snow, so pretty. Merry CHRISTmas Audrey!
That’s good to hear, Jackie. And, yes, the prairie was beautiful with the snow covering the landscape. I know how much you love winter.
