MORE PHOTOS TO COME, dear readers. But for now, this mother-of-the-bride is too exhausted to choose and edit images.
In synopsis: The wedding ceremony was beautiful, the bride gorgeous, the groom beaming, the venue elegant, the food outstanding and the celebration with family and friends absolutely the best.

Congratulations to one and all!
Thank you so much, Mark. I’m sure you’ll hear more details in person from the new Mrs. Schmidt once she’s back at work.
Congrats to your daughter and her husband and you and your family!!!
Thank you kindly, Renee. We are thrilled to have such a fabulous son-in-law to love and cherish our daughter.
That is a TRUE BLESSING Indeed!!! I am so lucky that my in-laws love me like their own and finally have a daughter now too:)
Yup, my new son-in-law just called me “Mom” tonight when we had to meet them half-way b/n here and St. Paul because some items were forgotten at our house. So sweet to hear.
That is SO SWEET!!!
Yes, it is.
You deserve some time to rest and reflect on such a beautiful time in your families life! I’m giddy with excitement to hear about and see photo’s of the wedding. Your synopsis sounds great….so happy it went well 🙂
Oh, Jackie, we could not have hoped for a better day.
Yes, I think I will sleep well tonight. I woke up at 5 a.m. today intending to accompany Randy and Caleb to the airport as Caleb’s plane flew out at 9 a.m. But I awoke with the most horrific of headaches accompanied by nausea. Lack of sleep, for sure, and stress catching up with me. I crawled back into bed to sleep for a few more hours and awoke feeling much better. However, I totally missed even seeing Caleb this a.m. or even hugging him goodbye. 😦
How exciting! Can’t wait for pictures!
I limited my photo taking as my second daughter reminded me that professional photographers had been hired to photograph the entire day. Plus, I needed to mingle. Several days of images will be forthcoming.
I am so glad it was all that! lol Thought about you and your family this weekend and having been there, knew there would not be an entry today. Can’t wait to see the pics. Congratulations to your daughter and her husband.
I am thinking the boy is on his way back to Boston?
Thank you for your well wishes, Deb. Now I know exactly how much work a wedding is, but definitely worth it.
Yes, the son is already back at Tufts University in Boston. It was great to have him home. Eight days prior to the wedding, he ended up in the ER at Massachusetts General, suffering from an asthmatic attack and a severe viral infection. For awhile there, we wondered if he would be well enough for the flight back to Minnesota and the wedding. But lots of people were praying for him and he recovered enough to fulfill his duties as an usher.
And the “deed is done” indeed AND a good time was had by all!!! Although we had 2 sons, I can understand your total fatigue. Rest, my dear, you earned it!!!!! Hugs…….
I think I will sleep really good tonight.
Sweet dreams……blessings and hugs……..
Thank you, Doreen. I slept well last night.
I knew you would! Serene Autumn days ahead…..breath deeply………hugs….
So glad for the great report! 🙂 I hope you’ve been able to sit back today and take a little R & R time!
No rest for the mother-of-the-bride yet today as this was a day of returning rentals and sorting through a whole van load of “stuff” carted home from the reception. I think by Wednesday, for sure by my birthday on Thursday, I will be able to rest.
Outstanding! SO looking forward to the photos, now you can get a good rest.. c
I’ll sleep good tonight. And, yes, like you with your son’s wedding, blog posts will be forthcoming on the celebration.
here is an appropriate blessing: Happy is the home of you who fear the Lord; shall fruitful shall your love become. Your children flourish like the olive plants, forever you are one.
May the Lord give you his blessings all your days. May you see God fill your land-until your children bring their children home-to show God’s love again.
What a beautiful blessing, John. Thank you. God centers Amber and Marc’s lives and will their marriage, too.
Well said, Audrey. We will never forget your and Randy’s toast; it made us laugh, made us cry and was inspirational. God bless both the Schmidt and Helbling families as you begin this new life journey together.
Oh, dear sister-in-law, Vivian, thank you so much. That was our exact intention with Randy’s speech. We’re so happy you and Jerry and many other family members could be with us to celebrate Amber and Marc’s marriage.
Catching up this morning since I have internet (thanks to my hubby’s MiFi that I borrowed). I wanted to wait to view the wedding posts till I could see them in full glory!! Going on to the next one now. Love this sign, by the way!
I wondered where you’d disappeared to, not that I’ve been too present on other’s blogs the past few days. Kind of busy, ya know.
