   An island indeed. It amazes me how much corn is still standing as I have driven around. It seems like there is so much more than in past years on this date but maybe it is that whole foggy memory thing that is clouding my mind. Peaceful Sunday to you, Audrey.

     When I photographed this scene a week ago in southwestern Minnesota, only a small amount of corn had been harvested. I am always impressed by the sheer vastness of acres planted in corn.

   Yes, they are islands for sure. And the wind blows the waves of corn that circle it. 🙂
