Love your blog, thanks for showing Faribault at Christmas time, when I miss it the most!
Thank you, Christine, and you are welcome. So glad I can take you home with my images of Faribault.
Looks like Randy better put the snowblower in high gear. At least they are not calling for “feet” of snow. Our Best.
And he forgot to buy gas for the snowblower…inches, not feet.
It’s like a Christmas movie – the image of the falling snow reminded me of ‘Christmas with the Kranks’. Very beautiful xx
Oh, Charlie, it’s so beautiful here this evening, too, with the snow falling every so gently.
beautiful photos! We had a wonderful time playing and singing music @ The Winters Farmers Market in the Paradise Theatre 🙂
Thank you, Melodie. And I enjoyed your music, too.
Photos from my busy Saturday of holiday activities coming this week…
So lovely; the snow and the beautiful old brick buildings. We don’t get snow in Sacramento, so thanks for these images.
You are welcome. About eight inches of snow here…
As it’s just getting light enough to see out our livingroom window, the snow continues and “they” say we have around 7″ with more coming in the hours ahead. Church, several party gatherings, caroling, etc, are on the agenda for today and tomorrow. Good thing I have an all-wheel-drive vehicle!!!!!! Faribault looks gorgeous…….almost “Dickens-like”!!!!!!
You sound like us with all of the pre-Christmas festivities. So much fun, but all packed in to one day.
We got about eight inches of snow total here.
Yup….sitting here assessing how all got done these past 3 days. This week brings 3 events!!! All fun but……….
It appears we may have gotten closer to 7″….LaX is saying 9″(Winona, too)
Enjoy the continuing holiday festivities. Something like 8 or 9 inches of snow in Faribault.
The first snow always comes with the promise of new things. Things that we eventually grow weary of – until the first green of spring. 🙂
I’m already weary of shoveling eight inches of snow.
——–thank you, my dear, for bringing me with you on your adventures.
You NEVER let the grass ( snow) grow/melt under your feet! xx
There was so much happening in Faribault on Saturday that I was racing around all day and into the evening taking it all in. Lots of stories coming this week on those events.
Such a beautiful sight, happy tonight….walking in the winter wonderland.
I can only imagine how happy you are, Jackie, to be walking in this Winter Wonderland.
Love a good snow globe snowing 🙂
That’s exactly what it seemed like– a snow globe. Today we are dealing with the reality of temps in the minus degrees.
Double Brrr (makes me shiver)! It is 75 degrees here 🙂
If only you could box and send some of that heat north.
That would be nice 🙂 I have some photo adventures coming up on the blog maybe that will help you soak in the sunshine and blue skies.
Ah, I look forward to photos of sunshine and blue skies, although the sun shone brightly here this morning. Just not warm bright.
