Two daisies

“I’ll give you a daisy a day, dear.”

Daisy

“I’ll give you a daisy a day.”

My daisies

“I’ll love you until the rivers run still.”

More daisies

“And the four winds we know blow away.”

  1. Thanks for the daisy pictures and the lyrics. My wife and I both love daisies and have them growing all over our yard. The shastas bloomed almost all summer this year and the black-eyed susans and other yellow daises picked up when the shastas let up. E erything is in seed now, but even that is a grand site, especially when the mass of seed heads are visited by goldfinces and indigo buntings.

Gordon– I’m delighted that you enjoyed the daisy photos. They’re among my favorite flowers, primarily for their simplistic beauty. Nothing fancy about them. They’re just sturdy, prolific and lovely to behold, even when not in bloom, as you so aptly described.
