A message posted on the McNeilus Steel, Inc., building along U.S. Highway 14, Dodge Center, Minnesota. On the company’s website, the family makes this statement: “The McNeilus family acknowledges the providence of God in continued success. We plan to remain privately owned, continue our growth, and provide job security to those who work for us.”
ON THIS TUESDAY, Election Day in the United States of America, I pray that God will bless our great nation and guide those whom we elect.
Exercise your freedom.
Vote.

Amen, Audrey! I voted absentee but am hoping that people turn out in droves to vote today. It is our privilege to do it and even if we don’t agree with our neighbor on the candidates and the issues it is important to have our say! Love the sign!
Exactly how I feel, Beth Ann. Amen.
Well said. I recognize this building! It’s hard to miss! I’ll be casting my vote with four little kids watching.
Excellent. It’s no small feat to load up four kids and take them to the polling booth with you. I’m enjoying your blog, BTW. Readers, you really ought to check out Kathy’s Chronicles.
I voted at 8:15 this morning. Hubby voted early, as he is away on a trip! UND girl got her ballot a few weeks ago, and another college daughter will be home this afternoon after class–to vote for the first time!
McNeilus Steel employs many of my family members!
My two daughters and son have already voted, too, one in Minnesota, the other in Wisconsin and the third via absentee ballot. The daughters reported lines and waiting. Good to hear.
and now we wait….and see 🙂
What a great statement from that company. May the re-elected government not make things more difficult for small businesses xx
Yes, I so appreciate McNeilus Steel’s statement and sign.
On the election, I’m so glad it’s over (five calls yesterday from one candidate’s office and three from one side pushing “no” on an amendment nearly pushed me over the edge). I am most assuredly not happy with all of the results. But at least I voted.
