My husband the fisherman would love this one. 🙂
That could be him fishing in Circle Lake. When I spotted this fisherman, it was the loveliest of autumn mornings. Just ideal for fishing.
Looks like a lovely place to wet a line.
Yes, certainly peaceful there in a lovely setting on a gorgeous autumn morning.
Tons of sweet memories of times spent fishing with my dad………..
How wonderful. Do you still fish?
I do like to……lake, not river, and pan fish/walleyes. 😀
Sounds good. Yum on the pan fish.
Makes me CRAVE the SIMPLE LIFE 🙂 Happy Day – Enjoy!
Doesn’t it?
Great pastime I’m ready!
But you must do plenty of fishing in Alaska…at least that’s part of my image of Alaska.
We try to make it to Valdez for Halibut and Salmon fishing at least once a year but truth be known I prefer Trout fishing and eating. Here in the interior where Fairbanks is located we only have rivers and small lakes for these fish. The lakes in our area do not compare with those in Minnesota. You have real lakes there not the small potholes like we have with muddy (not sandy) shore lines. I miss fishing for good pan fish like bluegills, sunfish etc. sigh……………………………………..
When my husband’s brother served in the Air Force in Alaska, he gave us some halibut. I thought it divine. But I also like pan fish a lot. Soon enough you may be back fishing the lakes of your native Minnesota.
Love this, I spent plenty of time this summer fishing, mostly from the dock, but our neighbor often trolled by and picked me up to fish in his boat with him. Rick does not fish, and neither does our friends wife, so there you have it.
May I laugh, Jackie? You and Rick bought a lake cabin and Rick doesn’t fish. I find that amusing. But I love that you are a strong fisherwoman.
Yes it does seem odd, but there is so much more to do than fish. I guess we arent the traditional couple who buy a cabin and the man goes out to fish, In our case it’s me 🙂 He does love his boat though, and will take me out fishing in it.
I think this is great, Jackie. You are right. There’s a lot more to do at a lake than fish. Be with family. Sit by the lake. Play board games. Engage in conversation. Nap… I’m sure you can add to that list.
I would be fishing along those reeds in the distance. I’m just sure there are some big bass lurking over there!
Yeah, I don’t know what type of fish are most prevalent in Circle Lake. I would guess pan fish.
Beautiful
Thank you.
