It’s a “trick question”?????? One would thing the city fathers would take care of this……..sun-fade does have a way of changing things!!! LOL!
Sun fade is correct. I simply found it amusing, the conflict between word and visual.
I know $$$ play into some of these situations, but, as you so beautifully pointed out, what are the thoughts on these things (especially since it’s kind of a safety issue!!??!!!)!!
Color ID doesn’t work so well when faded. I suppose that is why the word is there as well.
Exactly.
Maybe the engineer that put the sign up was colorblind????
I had that thought, too. But most likely fading by the sun.
Wow, it almost matches the sky as I see it on my computer screen. Heh.
That’s right. Matches the sky almost.
If you look at the street sign green, that is green, so were they out of green for the other sign when they made it – WOW?!? I had Wiley E Coyote dart out in front of me on the way to work this morning. A few weeks back on that road a 400+ pound male bear was hit and killed. Like a regular migration pattern going on in my hood. Bear, coyote, deer – Oh My! Be Safe On the Roads. Happy Weekend 🙂
And we think it’s bad with all the deer here in Minnesota. That’s nothing like a 400+ pound bear. You be careful, too.
Deer are tricky though too because if there is one there is always just not the one and multiple trying to cross the road or hang out on the shoulder.
You’re right about that.
Maybe like red is the new black, blue is the new green?
Well, I suppose that could be.
That’s confusing – and making everyone feel like they’re colour blind xx
I found it mostly humorous.
