Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through the generations.
MAY YOU BE BLESSED on Thanksgiving day by the presence of those you love. May your table be full. And may your heart overflow with gratitude to God for all you have been given.
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

I love that scripture! Happy Thanksgiving and may you have the best day ever. I love that image outside the church – just gorgeous xx
I’m pretty certain my friend Diane created the harvest basket, or my friend Mike. Both are creative types and use those talents to adorn the church.
That’s Psalm 100, a wonderful Psalm for Thanksgiving. Thank you for the wishes. It will be a quiet Thanksgiving this year with only four of us at our table. One daughter (the one 300 miles away in Wisconsin) is on call and the son is not flying home from college given Christmas is less than a month away. He’s travelling to New York City.
The harvest basket picture is beautiful. May your table be filled with many words of thanksgiving and hearts full of love. A wonderful thing indeed.
I know you will have a fabulous Thanksgiving with your three, Pilgrim hats and all.
In all seriousness, I wish you and yours a most blessed celebration of thanksgiving to our great God for all the blessings He has given us.
Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to you also!
š Just realizing I forgot to send you the link to my Thanksgiving column…I’ll see if I can still find it!
That would be great. Readers, Gretchen has just started writing a column for The Worthington Daily Globe, where she also blogs and occasionally writes feature stories.
Happy Thanksgiving to You and Your Family – Be Blessed My Friend:) Beautiful Post!
Thank you, Renee. A blessed day to you and yours also.
Beautiful photo, Audrey! Enjoy your holiday.
Thanks, Kathleen. A Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! We get to have two TG celebrations this week, first with our local family and the second on Thursday with our local ex-pat friends – I’m doubly thankful!
That is wonderful, Marilyn. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
We will have a quiet Thanksgiving with our eldest daughter and her husband here and that’s it. I’m used to a houseful, but it just did not work for extended family to gather this year. My second daughter (the one in northeastern Wisconsin) is on call and the son just arrived in NYC. He’ll be home in three weeks and I cannot wait. I’m feeling a bit melancholy thinking about Thanksgiving without two of my three “kids.” But once my eldest arrives tomorrow with her husband, I’ll be fine. It will be wonderful to spend the day with them and my husband.
Hope you have nice Thanksgiving Audrey. That photo is stunning,…frame worthy for sure!
Thank you, Jackie. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Rick and family, also.
Randy is firing up the Weber grill and is about to place the turkey inside.
We’ll be a small group this year with only the newlyweds here. Miranda is on call and Caleb is in NYC. Maybe I’ll spot him in the crowd at the Macy Day’s parade.
Never Grilled a Turkey, how’d it turn out?
The grilled turkey turned out great. This time Randy added oak chips, thus the turkey had a hint of a smokey flavor. He’s grilled turkey numerous times on our old-fashioned Weber kettle charcoal grill and it’s always turned out great. He once grilled a turkey in minus 20 something temps for a family holiday dinner. Yes, the man loves to grill and I am incredibly appreciative.
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
Thank you. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
May your day be blessed also. Wonderful scripture for today and love the picture….Happy Thanksgiving Audrey.
Thank you. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with my husband, oldest daughter and her husband. I hope your day was a blessed one also.
